2026 PROGRAM
The Concerts at Wróbel Pond are distinguished by their unique location at the intersection of the city and nature—by the water, surrounded by greenery, and yet right in the heart of Jasień. The intimate setting fosters close contact between the artists and the audience, creating a unique atmosphere on summer evenings.
From the very beginning, the series has focused on artists associated with independent music who are exploring new forms of expression. This year, we’ll hear, among other things, folk-inspired music, original songs, and alternative pop. This year’s edition will take place in a new spatial setting between the Melnik café and the Boukoffa Gallery.

Guitar reinterpretations of John Coltrane’s music. Raphael Rogiński revisits material from his iconic 2015 album, enriching it with new layers of improvisation and folk spirituality. It will be a concert brimming with jazz, blues, and raw emotional depth.

Piano and electronics, darkness and light, emotion and space—YANA invites you on a dreamlike journey through the sounds of the album *Daydreamer*. This is a concert for those who want to immerse themselves in reflective and subtle music that straddles the line between ambient and neoclassical.

Film music, theater music, performance, and new technologies—Andrzej Konieczny creates an audiovisual performance in which sound harmonizes with movement and imagery. It is an emotional, intense, and multi-layered presentation of the artist’s unique artistic language.

A hypnotic journey through the rhythms and sounds of African lamellophones combined with electronic music. Rafał Iwański will create a space of organic trance—inspired by the philosophy of John Cage, meditation, and experimentation.

In 2024, during the summer concerts at Wróbel Pond, the audience had the opportunity to hear exceptional artists from the alternative and jazz scenes. 2023 PROGRAM
In 2023, as part of the “Staw Wróbla” concert series, female composers of the younger generation presented their work. Antonina Car, Malina Midera, Olga Markowska, and Zofia Esden performed against a picturesque backdrop. The innovative and deeply sensitive performances by these artists from Gdańsk offered diverse perspectives on contemporary, improvised, and electronic music. It was the perfect choice for those looking to take a break right in the middle of summer vacation.
Antonina Car | August 3, 2023 | 8:00 p.m.
Composer, sound artist, and producer. Her work is based on the sounds of acoustic instruments, enriched with subtle electronic elements. Last December, her debut solo album was released by the American label Time Released Sound. She actively collaborates with musicians from various countries, recording string parts, working on musical projects, and performing in concerts.

Olga Markowska | August 10, 2023 | 8:50 p.m. (!)
An interdisciplinary artist, instrumentalist, and composer. In her visual art, she explores themes of identity, the memory of places, and the relationship between humans and nature. Her musical interests range from early music to film scores, minimalism, dream pop, and metal. As a composer, she most often works with the cello and the zither. She composes music for short films and site-specific installations.
Malina Midera | August 17, 2023 | 8:00 p.m.
Pianist, composer, producer, and improviser. She works with improvisation, acoustic instruments, and humor. A student at the Gdańsk Academy of Music, specializing in jazz piano. She has performed on many music stages, including Nasjonal Jazzscene in Oslo, Dexter in Odense, Primi in Copenhagen, Mellemrummet in Copenhagen, Klub Wytwórnia in Łódź, the Łódź Philharmonic, and the Up To Date Festival 2022.
Zofia Esden | August 24, 2023 | 8:00 p.m.
Sound artist and experimentalist. She draws inspiration from the surrounding soundscape. She is fascinated by the use of the human voice as an instrument. Together with Marcin Dymiter, she co-founded the voice_electronic duo and has collaborated with Polish and international artists, including Mordy, Ludhaus, and Gerard Maimone. After a hiatus, she returns with new material that reflects her inspiration from jazz in its various forms.

2022 PROGRAM
In 2022, during the first edition, on July evenings, musicians from the Tri-City presented premiere projects related to their latest releases. From synth-driven electronic music, through ambient and shoegaze improvisations, to explorations of flute sounds. We invited the audience to contemplate original music in extraordinary natural surroundings.
Maciej Polak | July 13, 2022
For the past 25 years, Maciek Polak’s life has revolved around analog synthesizers—he restores them through his company, analogia.pl, has been writing about their history in the press for decades, but above all, he is a user and enthusiast.He is a member of the band Pin Park, with whom he has released two albums to date. Polak’s work is both a blessing and a curse, as dozens of the most iconic instruments pass through his hands. It brings him great joy, but it also presents challenges, because there are many toys, even more passions, and time isn’t elastic. However, he’s saved by the true love of his life—the EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer. His solo album “1972,” a tribute to this instrument, has just been released.
Maja Miro | July 20, 2022
A multi-flutist specializing in historical instruments, improviser, and composer. Creator of intermedia projects that place the Baroque flute in various contemporary contexts. She develops these projects with artists from various fields—dancers, sculptors, filmmakers, actors, directors, and other musicians, including Mikołaj Trzaska, Dominik Strycharski, and Jacaszek. She is a co-founder and member of the early music ensemble SILVA RERUM arte, as well as president of the SILVA RERUM Foundation, based in Gdańsk, which, in collaboration with the City of Gdańsk, organizes festivals dedicated to early music in the Tri-City. She has recorded over a dozen albums featuring Baroque, contemporary, and folk music. She serves as a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
Olga Anna Markowska | July 27, 2022
Olga Anna Markowska—visual artist, instrumentalist, and composer. A graduate of the State Music School (Levels I and II) in Łomża and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She performs solo on the cello and zither, as well as in a duo with Wojciech Wilk (Teufelsberg). The duo released the cassette “Uncomfortably Close” in June 2021. In her visual and musical work, she explores themes related to the memory of places, identity, and the relationship between humans and nature.
