The 9 new tracks were included on the compilation *In My Dreams I See a Peaceful East*. In addition, 15 limited-edition vinyl copies, produced in collaboration with Don’t Sit on My Vinyl, were auctioned off.
Today, we’re all wondering how we can help our sisters and brothers in Ukraine. We stand for peace. We want to support them and express our solidarity. That’s why, together with artists from Gdańsk, we’ve created the musical compilation “In My Dreams I See a Peaceful East.” We’re sharing with you nine unique tracks, most of which you’ll be hearing for the first time. Through the music created by these artists, we want to bring you—our listeners—hope for a peaceful future, and to show our neighbors our solidarity and support.
The following artists contributed tracks to the compilation: the band BLED (Emil Miszk and Sławek Koryzna), Oskar Jacob Tomala, Wh0Wh0 (Jacek Prościński), Maja Miro, Stefan Wesołowski, Janka (Piotr Kaliński and Daniel Szlajnda), Immortal Onion, Emiter (Marcin Dymiter), and Olga Anna Markowska.
We donated the funds we raised to the “Powrót żywych” Foundation (savelife.in.ua)—one of the largest charitable organizations providing aid on the Ukrainian front. In response to the wave of refugees who have also arrived in Gdańsk, we donated the funds to the “Gdańsk Helps Ukraine” initiative run by the Gdańsk Foundation (ukraina.gdanskpomaga.pl).
In addition, on Facebook and our Bandcamp page, we sold and auctioned off 15 copies of a limited-edition vinyl record created in collaboration with Don’t Sit on My Vinyl. Long live a free Ukraine!
